I had a phone call today, it was one of many I've been getting over the last few weeks. They were always blocked by a device I have on my land line that checks the caller ID against my "white list". Well curiosity got the best of me and I turned off my device for a day. The recording of the call is in this audio message below. ( I did not include the part where I said he was a "F'n liar. He hung up after that. )
Interestingly, who he asked about was my former mother-in-law. She passed away about 20 years ago. I should have given him the address of the cemetery. I told my nephew about it, he's a detective in the local police department, he said three people were scammed in my neighborhood to get gift cards and reading the numbers to the caller.
